Murder at Captain Marvel’s Cabin —Part One

It was yet another episode of Love Island and the younger ones were buzzing with excitement to start picking their poison. Was love going to brew? So much anticipation was running around cuz it’s new drama and probably green flags or walking red flags waiting to reveal themselves.

Outside, the rains had settled in, bringing with them chills that seemed to creep into every room. And I wanted to cuddle and made love to.

Mama was attending Lieutenant Abby’s celebratory dinner, leaving the house unusually relaxed but I didn’t put more attention to it cuz it was a perfect opportunity to spend alone time with my Beau.

I called him earlier and we agreed he’d come over while my siblings and friends were glued to the TV.

He arrived with red wine and condoms through the back door by the kitchen and made his way to my room whilst I distracted my siblings. As usual, the security guards indulged me cuz I’m their favorite Marvel girl.

Mama has raised us almost entirely on her own since Papa left years ago. I can barely recognize him anymore but I know he loved us.

Beau and I made it to my room. He kissed me so passionately as he always did. He seemed a bit nervous but I understood that’s because we are doing it in my mama’s house. He touched my legs and made his way to my lips beneath and he used his tongue like the way I loved it. He then wore the condom and made his way into me. He was so gentle at first and he went on faster. He still seemed nervous and he kept asking if I was Ohk. I was fine but I couldn’t shake the feeling that he wasn’t Ohk. We then did it once and twice and for the third time there came a scream.

The scream was so sharp enough to freeze the blood in my veins.

I ran downstairs to the sound of the screams and in the kitchen laid our gardener with blood beneath him and a knife rested nearby.

For a moment nobody moved.

Nobody spoke. We all kept quiet and looking around as if we could make sense of what was happening.

Our chef had left at around 6pm. We took snacks at around 6:30pm from the kitchen. Everything seemed normal.

I had left my siblings gushing over the new guys and girls from Love Island. I had been busy getting him inside me. So, what went wrong?

We all kept on standing around looking and scared. A murder at our home?

The room then erupted into panic.

Someone called the guards.

Someone else started crying.

Everybody had a theory, but nobody had answers.

Captain was still at dinner and we didn’t know what to do.

Then surprisingly, mama came downstairs too.

I was shocked cuz I didn’t realize she was back from the dinner. I then started questioning my decisions. OmG, did she hear my moans?

I didn’t even know it was already 11pm. How did time went so fast?

A man stood beside mama.

He wasn’t family. Wasn’t a staff.

And unlike us, he didn’t look surprised.

Did mama bring home a man? He just held Captain Marvel and whispered in her ears.

Soon the house was filled with police officers and paramedics.

The gardener’s body was taken away.

The rest of us were told to remain inside. Nobody was allowed to leave.

Officers took positions around the property. Questions would definitely be asked and I started panicking.

My beau was still in my room.

As I watched in a panic mode, my eyes landed on the handcuffs resting on the police officer’s belt.

I couldn’t stop wondering.

Whose wrists would they be on before the night was over?
